Exceptional Staff Member of the Year

Dodge Primary Exceptional Teacher of the Year

Mrs. Sheree Williams

Dodge County Primary School proudly announces Sheree Williams as their Exceptional Teacher of the Year.

Mrs. Williams is the daughter of James Coleman and Debra Wilson. She has been married to Bryan Williams for 20 years. They have two children, Riley Williams, a Senior at Dodge County High School and Olivia Williams, a sixth grader at Dodge County Middle School.

Mrs. Williams graduated from Dodge County High School in 2002. She attended Middle Georgia State University before graduating from Mercer University with a Bachelor of Science in Social Science. She is obtaining her Master of Art in Special Education through Georgia College and State University.

Before coming to South Dodge Elementary, Mrs. Williams served adults with disabilities for the last eight years. Williams started teaching fifth-grade Science and Social Studies at South Dodge Elementary in January 2022. At the end of the 2022-2023 school year, Mrs. Williams was given the opportunity to teach ELA and Math to children with disabilities for grades K-2 at Dodge County Primary for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year.

Mrs. Williams’s favorite quote is, “All kids need a little help, a little hope, and someone who believes in them!” Mrs. Williams grew up with a special needs cousin, who she says grew her love for those with special needs. She is honored and humbled to be selected to represent Dodge County Primary School as Exceptional Teacher of the Year. She will continue to do her very best to serve the children of Dodge County and help them meet their full potential.
